Trinity Lutheran Early Childhood Center has been open since 2004 offering services to children from 6 weeks old to 12 years old. We are very family oriented and work closely with them, in respect of their parental roll, as we help guide the children through each developmental milestone.

We have a dedicated team, who work together in a caring, Christian, and joyful environment. Our team has a willingness to be flexible with work schedules to help cover shifts and all have experience and training to work with any age group. They watch over children's health and well-being, teaching and motivating the children in their developmental and spiritual growth.

We are looking to hire a person who loves children and understands their needs as they grow. Someone who has good communication skills, flexibility in their work schedule, is reliable, and willing to learn through hands on experience and annual training.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide appropriate care and supervision for children at all times.
  • Follow planned schedule of activities.
  • Observe children's interactions and promote the spirit of accord.
  • Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, indoor or outdoor games, singing etc.) to enhance the child's abilities.
  • Work with team members to keep the classroom running efficiently.
  • Communicate with families about their child.
  • Annual training on the many aspects of an early childhood profession.
  • Follow teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the state licensing agent.

  • A love of teaching both cognitive and life skills

Education:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent

Job:

Infant/Toddler Room, part-time, between 20 - 30 hours per week

Schedule needed is afternoon shift, 12pm - 6pm, Monday - Friday

Wages start at $12.48 per hour
